Son of Akure. Builder of people. Servant of the constituency.
Babatunde Faro was born and raised in the heart of Akure to a family that valued discipline, faith and service. From early days as a community organiser to building one of the constituency's most respected enterprises, his story has always been about lifting others as he climbed.
He earned his university degree from one of Nigeria's leading institutions and pursued advanced training in public policy and leadership. For more than two decades, he has worked across grassroots, business and party platforms — earning the trust of traditional rulers, religious leaders, market women, youth groups and the political mainstream.
As a long-standing member and stakeholder in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he has mobilised young Nigerians around the values of social democracy, justice and opportunity. As the PDP candidate for the Akure North / Akure South Federal Constituency, he is offering a new generation of leadership: visible, accountable and relentlessly focused on results.
OYATO — his rallying cry — is more than a slogan. It's a promise that this time, things will be done differently.
